At the 1TO1 Driving School, we pride ourselves in the service and quality of the driving lessons we provide on the Isle of Wight. Together our driving instructors on the Isle of Wight have many years of experience teaching pupils how to drive. We offer a wide range of driving lessons on the Isle of Wight from absolute beginner drivers, intensive driving lessons, refresher and Pass Plus courses. Our driving lessons are affordable, efficient and with a very high pass rate. We are trained and certified with 30 years of experience.

How many driving lessons will I need to take?

The number of lessons required varies from student to student and is dependent on many factors, such as age availability and learning style. Your instructor will assess your skills and recommend an amount of driving lessons.

What type of car will I be learning in?

We have a range of modern cars, such as BMW 1 Series, Renault and Hyundai i20 which all come with dual controls for your peace of mind and safety.

Do I need to pass the Theory Test before I can start my driving lessons?

No, and in fact, it may be better to learn the theory whilst having practical lessons. You will, however, need to pass the theory test before applying for the practical test. 1TO1 can guide you through the process.

What do I need to do before I can start driving?

You need to be at least 17 years of age and if you have not already done so, apply for a provisional license from the DVLA. You can do this online or by getting an application form from the post office. It is also worth having an eyesight check, but in any event, ensure you can read a standard car number plate at 20.5 meters.
